The journey to and from the Church or Crematorium can be one of the most emotional times of the whole Funeral Service, a time to reflect on memories past and pay your respects. There are several things that will need careful consideration when organising your cortège (the hearse and the following vehicles). The method of transport, motor vehicle, Horse Drawn hearse, Motor Cycle Hearse or another modes of transport that you have requested.
Planning for the route and vehicles for the journey to the Funeral
You'll also need to decide where the cortège leaves from and returns to and the number of limousines you'll require(our limousines carry Seven passengers). You may have a particular route in mind, perhaps past a favourite landmark, place of birth or somewhere that held a special memory for the deceased. Of course, Allwood Funeral Directors are here to discuss all these details with you when arranging your funeral, we're happy to make all transport arrangements on your behalf, whatever your wishes.
